The local swimming hole in Nyons in the Drôme department of France. In the shade of the historic Roman bridge, the most-inviting blue of the river Eygues beckoned on this blisteringly hot day in summer 2019. Locals swam and splashed. Some even unfolded a camping chair in the shallows so they could sit in the shade, ankles submerged. This significant body of water petered out to a trickle further downstream care of the hot dry summer France experienced this year.

These fine art prints are printed on 100% cotton rag and framed in sustainably sourced Victorian Ash hardwood. Frames are made and assembled by hand in Melbourne by the team at Format Framing.
